Java editor deletes text after pause of typing [message #263459]

How can I turn this off as I`ve gone through the Java Editor preferences
trying various combinations to no success.

I remember seeing a thread about this in the last month or so. Did you try
searching the newsgroup archives and Bugzilla, to see if there's any
information there?
