Progressview in RC3 updated only after first Job [message #254931]

the Progressview shows the status (Progressbar) of a job only after the
first job has been run. I've a application (CD-Ripper) where i want
to see immediatly the status of the job. How can i accomplish this?
Is there a way to force an update on the Progressview?
