Auto sized Column Widths [message #252350] Tue, 14 August 2007 12:06

Hi,

Is it possible to tell BIRT to size columns according to the width of a
text label?

I have a situation where a label, which has six words in it, is stacked
with one word on each line. I don't want to mess around with column
widths based on percentages or absolute values, I'd just like to be able
to tell BIRT to size the column to the width of the text, or to flow the
text over two lines.

i.e. from this

Maximum
Charges/
Fees Days
in Arrears

to this

Maximum Charges/Fees
Days in Arrears

Am I missing something blindingly obvious here?

Thanks
Ben
