Package Explorer version tags [message #250177] Mon, 07 June 2004 16:54 Go to next message

Hey all,
I just upgraded Eclipse from 3.0M4 to 3.0RC1 and have one issue that I'm
trying to figure out. My filenames in the Package Explorer now have the
cvs version and the type in them. For example, what used to be
"HelloWorld.java" is now "HelloWorld.java 1.3 (ASCII -kkv)". I don't
like having all the extra information on the filenames and was wondering
if there was any way to get back to the old style. I've looked through
the window-->preferences but was unable to find any setting that did
what I wanted. I'm sure I just missed something, but could really use
some help finding out what it was.
Thanks,
Matthew Zimmer

On 3.0M9 (and 2.x, IIRC) it is Preferences > Team > CVS > "Label
Decorations". Probably the same for 3.0RC1

HTH,
Eric

'+1' to the "Turn Label Decorations on by default".
Do we have such in bug-eclipse-zilla?
