selecting the resorce in navigator view.
Also synchronize toolbar button is disabled. Why is it so.I have setup
the cvs repository location and iam getting whatever contents r there in
cvs. Also i simply want to modify a file and then take latest for testing
purpose.
On selecting a file iam not getting options for checkout/checkin.Only
for folders option such as "checkout as project" is coming.
Pls do help me.

It sounds as if the Project that you are trying it on might not be
associated with CVS. If you right-click on the Project name and choose
the Team pop-up menu, what choices are listed there?

Also open the Eclipse Help and look at the Getting Started sections.
There is a tutorial for working with Eclipse and CVS that would have
answered all of your questions.
