I was attracted by this subject at first. Unfortunately, ".ppt" is
a closed proprietary document format, personally, I resent to cope
with such proprietary stuff published in public domain although I
appreciate your painstaking work. So if you want your tutorial
widely spread, an open format would be a wise choice.

Regards!

Proprietary or not, you can download a free PowerPoint viewer here:

OpenOffice.org does a fine job of opening PPT files, allowing one to
edit, print, and save them as well, either on Windows, Mac, Linux ...

Resent it or not - Power Point is one of the best tools out there for
writing presentations. Of course, I could have done it in Notepad, but I
think then you would resent it even more for a different reason :) ...

Enjoy,

the new URL is http://www.apl.jhu.edu/~kalman/swt/SWT_TUTORIAL.ppt

Thank you for your attention.

In fact I can directly obtain a pirated copy of M$ product and
individuals will NOT involve with any criminal suit for this
deed in my country. But I think that is not good.

I will tackle it with OpenOffice. :)

Regards!
