Hello,
I have a big problem about CVS and I looked through the help but could
not find what is useful for me. My problem is this: I have some
projects whose CVS sources resided on main branch. But a few days ago,
the main branch is tagged as "releaseXX" and a new branch was created(by
other project members). Now the branch from where I have to
update/commit etc are this new branch "releaseXX", and I could not find
out how to set my existing project properties so that in case I say
update/commit, it uses the new branch "releaseXX", no more the main branch.
Thanks for any help,
Sunay

You just have to select your Project, right-click and choose "Replace
With > Another Branch"
That will bring up a dialog window allowing you to choose another branch
as the source of your project. If this is the first time you are using
the branch, you will probably have to use the "Configure Tags" button in
that window to make Eclipse recognize the branches you are interested in.
Search the Eclipse Help for lots of information on these tasks.

Eric

With the newer Eclipse 3 builds you can also Update from any arbitrary
branch (so there's no need to replace files, just merge them). This is
available from the dialog you get now with Team > Update.

Thanks for the answers.
I did as Ed told. I installed 3.0 RC1(I had to do it one day:) and it
has the new CVS features that I needed.
