Hi,
Recently (>M8 I think) eclipse added fancy progress dialogs with details
subsection. There is also a concurrent display of progress in the
right/bottom corner of the workbench that can be invoked to display
details in the progress view.
How is this achieved? I have found some classes that look like
implementation of these fancy dialogs but they are all internal?
All the best.

No, this support is not in JFace. You would need the
org.eclipse.ui.workbench plugin, which is available to Eclipse RCP
applications.
