I can't seem to find where the log file is located in M9? I looked at my
workspace directory in the .metadata directory where it used to be, but I
don't find a log file there anymore. I'm having problems with one of the
plugins that I want to use and I'd like to see whatever error messages I am
getting.

Easiest thing is to use the Window > Show View > Error Log view (or Window >
Show View > Other > PDE Runtime > Error Log in some perspectives that don't
define Error Log as a shortcut).
