I've read the legal FAQ at

http://www.eclipse.org/legal/legalfaq.html

and it only seems to say "it depends".

I know that code contributed to Eclipse cannot be GPL licensed, but can
I contribute code to Eclipse that includes code that has a BSD-license?

The BSD license allows code to be used for any purpose at all
(commercial or not) and imposes only the requirement that the source
code contains the original authors names and a copy of the BSD copyright
notice.
