Hi,
I am not sure if I'm adressing the right forum but my question is about
refernencing plug-ins to each other.

1. I have created several different plug-ins A, B,C and D
2. A needs to reference B, C and D
3. D needs to reference A and B.

The question is:
Are cross-references ok?
The list of plug-ins is modified depending on how I try to reference the
different-plugins.

The way Itried to build the the process is to have test, requirements,
development in different plug-ins where roles, tasks etc are described for
each sub-process.
The Test plug-in for example needs to reference(add) work products etc.
from the Requirement plug-in and the Requirement plug-in needs to add
roles from the Test plug-in.

So my second question is:
Is this how I am supposed to use EPF Composer?

Thank you very much.

In general, you should avoid having circular dependencies like this. If
you take a look at OpenUP/Basic, we solved this by having a core
sub-process called Collaboration. All the roles and common artifacts
(Analyst, Tester, Developer, work item list, test cases, use cases, etc)
are in Collaboration. We have 3 other sub-processes independent of each
other (Intent, Solution, and Management). They all depend on
Collaboration, so Intent and Solution, for instance, can both use the
description for Use Cases and the Analyst role. They can even contribute
information to those elements. When the process is published, the
contributions from all plug-ins (sub-processes) are included on the
published page for that element.
