This is the 2nd repost. Hopefully, I'll get some feedback this time.
I'm observing sort of inconsistencies after installing the Language
Pack 2.1.2_Translations on an Eclipse 2.1.2 installation. The "Install
Configuration" view of the "Update Manager" perspective marks several
features as being not configured properly. For example, for the EMF
language pack, the following plugins are missed at runtime:
org.eclipse.emf.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.edit.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.editor.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.codegen.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ui.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ecore.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ecore.ui.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.common.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.common.ui.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.edit.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.edit.ui.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.mapping.nl1
org.eclipse.emf.mapping.ui.nl1
In fact, no plugins with these names exist on the system but if you
append the suffix "_<version number>", then all these packages are
there.
This looks like a little configuration inconsistency. Is anybody out
there who can shed some light on this issue and help to fix it?
As additional information, let me also tell you that I've seen the
same effect with the previous Language Pack. Interestingly, no
inconsistencies showed up after applying Language Pack 2.1.1. Only
after applying the patch 2.1.1.1 for this Language Pack did the same
inconsistencies show up as reported above. So the issue was already
there with v2.1.1 and persisted in v2.1.2.
