Hi,

I have installed the necessary software required for the BIRT.

But when i try to access the BIRT - Report Designer option through the
Open Perespetive option of the Eclipse editor, its not available there.

I checked the Eclipse -> Plugin folder. But i didnt find any
org.eclipse.birt files there.

Have I missed some installable?

But as per the list of software installable given in the BIRT tutorial, I
have installed all the necessary software.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

Just FYI -- apparently in Eclipse 3.1+ this is not recommended.

Suggested procedure is running Eclipse just once with the -clean
parameter, ie;

C:\Eclipse\eclipse.exe -clean
