Hi,

i have a problem with the connections to a ellipse. There is alsway a
break between the two figures. It looks like there is a invisible
rectangle around the ellipse (look at the attachment).

I tried so much but i don't find the mistake. :-(

Can anybody help me?

Greets
Torsten

Hi Torsten,

We faced the same problem in UML2Tools. Collaboration and CollaborationUse
have ellipse shapes. All links were attached to the accommodating rectangle,
not to the ellipse by default.

Using org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.gef.ui.internal.figures.OvalFigure or any other
figure implementing IOvalAnchorableFigure interface in XXXEditPart#createNodePlate()
should help.

Best wishes,
Tanya.

Hi,

how is this done for polygons?

I asked the same question earlier ("SlidableAnchor and custom polygon as
NodeFigure") but didn't get an working solution.

Hi Stephan,

I don't know any implementation for polygons. I think, you can implement
it by yourself and contribute it to Eclipse in order to allow everybody to
reuse it in the future.

Best wishes,
Tanya.
