I am trying to set breakpoints inside c++ template class functions,
but it seems cdt is unable to map code locations to addresses. I
understand that this can be a problem since what I really want is a
breakpoint in the template instantiation code.

maybe the problem is related to this gdb issue?
< http://sourceware.org/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl?cmd=view%20audit-t rail&datab
ase=gdb&pr=375>

Is there anything I can do to be able to set breakpoints inside these
functions?

I am using eclipse 3.3.1.1 and cdt 4.0.0.200709241202
