Hello together,

I would like create an application for a PDA using C++ with Eclipse and
I've got a few questions. Hoping someone can help me.

Is it correct that I can use all the functions needed to develop for
mobile devices with Eclipse? Where does Eclipse get these functions from -
do I have to install the Windows Platform SDK and Eclipse addresses this
external SDK? I mean, the Windows SDK is something like the Windows API,
isn't it?

I was also wondering why in the Windows Mobile SDK there are no
headers and stuff included like in the Platform SDK. Are all functions I
need already included in the Platform SDK?

Is there also a way to use .NET with Eclipse? I guess not. Do you think it
makes more sense for me to use VS to develop a program for a PDA? I read
that it is much easier to access the GPS port via .NET.

I know, a lot of questions again, but I'd really appreciate your advice.

Thanks.

Tom
