Hello!
First of all, I'd like to say hello to all of you here, and I hope that
this is the right spot to post such questions as mine.
I decided to pick a new tool for editing Javascript/Html that our system
uses. I found Eclipse to be a very good program (if not the best) for our
purposes.
Unfortunately I ran into some (minor) problems, and I hope that one of you
could help me.
First of all, after I set eclipse to be my default source editor, I don't
seem to be able to edit it. What happens is when I click "edit source",
eclipse opens, but the code doesn't. The same thing happens after I tied
eclipse to our system. Any ideas?
Also this is more of a question than a problem. We edit a lot of html that
has javasript in it. Is there a way to have eclipse present both
"perspectives" in the pane? Or if not, is there a quick way to switch
between the two?
Also, after trying to update WTP (Web Tools Platform) and the ATF package,
the updater tells me that I need "JST Web Core Patch Feature". Where would
I get that?
Thank you!
-M
ps. I'm currently trying to update eclipse as much as possible, without
running into dependancy problems.
