I'm not entirely sure whether OpenVXML will do all of the things I need it
to do.
I'd like to use IpenVXML as a conversation engine and would like to use my
existing telephony componants (C++ code with COM wrappers).
Is is possible to create custom modules to do this? If so, where would be a
good place to start? (I've gone through the demos, looking for advice on
creating custom modules and hooking them up).

After more research I think I found what I need.
It looks like what I need to do is extend a browser capabilities. JVoiceXML
looks promising, but currently lacks telephony support.
Is this group monitored? It doesn't seem to be very active compared to some
of the other eclipse groups.
