It looks like the only WSDL code generated in WTP is the AXIS wsdl2java
and java2wsdl. Is there a plugin or configuration that can support
wsimport and wsgen tools?

Eric,
the Web service tools in WTP consist of a generally extensible platform
with a reference implementation extension for Apache Axis 1.3. Neither we
nor anyone else (as far as I know) have developed open source extensions to
the WTP Web services platform in support of the Sun reference
implementation emitters for JAX-WS 2.0. I would consider this to be part of
a larger effort to support development, deployment and testing of JAX-WS
2.0 components that would also require integration of a JAX-WS 2.0 runtime
such as Glassfish.

BTW, you're always welcome to open an RFE [1] to request enhancements to
the platform.

Cheers - CB.
