Alexander,
I know the issue has been discussed before and you said
"Eclipse Platform does not provide hook for "Copy" action. So, in order
to avoid the problem please use Team->Copy To... action from the pop-up
menu instead of Copy/Paste."
but under CVS one could do a copy and paste of resources resulting in
new stuff to be committed, and myself (and other users on my team)
expected that as well.
Finding a 'linked' directory has been confusing, causing lots of pain
until we understood it - especially because the behavior is different
for files (ok) and folder (not ok).
Could the Subversive team look into this again, please?
Telling users to use your 'special copy' isn't a solution IMO!
cheers
Edoardo

Hello Edoardo,
Yes, it is right. AFAIK CVS integration simply drops copied CVS
meta-information folders while refreshing copied resources. But in our
case .svn folders always created externally, so we don't know if refreshed
svn is wrong or not. This mean that we can't use the same workaround. But
may be I'm wrong? So, I will check this once again...
