Hello,
I have to develop a report in BIRT. I am facing following questions which
needs to be solved so that the report can be created in desired format.
1) Can Tables in BIRT be created at runtime. For e.g. if a count of
dataset is 9 Report would be needing 9 columns and then the population of
all the 9 values in the columns of the table at runtime.
2) For an available dataset, can it be scrolled horizontally. Currently in
BIRT if we have bound the dataset to a table it will be entering
dynamically data row by row. In above e.g. if we want to populate the 9
columns from database we would be needing horizontal scrolling of dataaset.
A quick answer to these questions will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Navin

You'll get a quicker answer if you post this to eclipse.birt
I'm pretty sure the answer to #1 is yes. You can do quite a lot in BIRT
using a bit of JavaScript. The folks on eclipse.birt will have actual
answers...
