Hello,
I'm really happy to see M2T project becomes reality.
I think it can be the best solution to have all code generators (like
xpand, jet, acceleo, and other) work together and to improve
collaborations between developers teams.
For programming languages, there isn't only one language : Java, C++,
Python, Php have their own advantages and communities. And I think it's
the same thing for template languages.
So, I hope M2T will simplify user's liberty of choice.
As I like ASCII art, here is my little contribution about how I imagine
M2T Infrastructure Framework :

As you can see, I think a good comparison of M2T IF is the Team Server
API which help to remove dependences of external applications to CVS or
SVN, for all standard needs. For M2T IF, we need to identify what are
these standard needs ...
