why no navigation to parent in OPML [message #15631] Wed, 23 April 2008 20:49 Go to next message

Hi,
When getting an Outline or OPML, I would like to be able to navigate to
their parents. There are no such methods.

Now I had to implement this by searching up the DataNode chain that is
built for presentation instead (since it is built top-down and parents
are known).

As you can guess this is all for writing actions that are meaningful to
invoke from a child but needs the parent objects.

Hi Henrik,
this would be easy to add to the model. Can you please enter an enhancement request in our bugzilla?
