ftp ant task in M9? [message #162067]

Hi

The ftp task seems to be missing in the ant plugin of M9. This task is
optional for ant but I've checked several other optional tasks and they
work fine the same platform.

I've never tried to use this task on older releases, so I'm not sure
whether this is a bug or a feature introduced in M9 ;).
Any clues about this?

My Eclipse is M9 working on Win2k platform.

Its neither a bug or a feature of eclipse. Its a Read the Ant Manual
issue :-)

FTP requires libraries not included in the ant distribution. Read about
the FTP task in the ant manual, it describes what is needed there.

hope beeing stupid is enough excuse for me :)

I just forgot that my default console ANT is a little bit customized and
has several tasks added (FTP is obviously one of them)

thanks and sorry for the stupid question :)
