I was in the process of installing JBoss as an Eclipse plug-in. When
doing the following:
From main menu, I selected Help | Software Updates | Find and Install.
From the first install window, I selected the Search for new features to
install radio button and clicked the next button.
Then on the next install window, I clicked on the New Remote Site button
and entered JBoss in the Name field and
http://jboss.sourceforge.net/jbosside/updates in the url field on the New
Update Site dialog box and clicked the OK button.
My problem is:
#1) the url does not find the updates (url is bad)
it now can be http://www.jboss.com/products/jbosside/downloads
#2) how can I delete the existing Update site for Jboss (the connection
between the Name JBoss and the url
http://jboss.sourceforge.net/jbosside/updates)
#3) when I try to re-enter (do another New Update Site entry) using the
same name it says that the name already exists. I would like to be able
to delte that.
Thanks in advance for helping!

I'm not sure I understand your problem completely (I haven't done
anything with JBoss) but in general:
- Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install...
- Search for new features to install, Next
- You should have a JBoss update site there. With luck, you'll be
able to click on it and press "Edit" to update it
It looks as if there's a problem with the "/downloads" URL as well:
Network connection problems encountered during search.
Unable to access "http://www.jboss.com/products/jbosside/downloads".
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default
"site.xml" file. The root tag is not site.]

The "/downloads" URL isn't an update site, it appears to be a web page.
According to some JBoss doc I found, you want the URL:
http://download.jboss.org/jbosside/updates/stable
Hope this helps!
