Restrict "Navigate/Open Resource" to current project? [message #156220] Thu, 13 November 2003 08:52 Go to next message

I have a workspace with a number of projects, all very similar. I'm using
different projects to work on different CVS branches, that's why the
projects are similar.

Now, invoking the menu item Navigate/Open Resource allows me to enter a
filename, but quite often, the same file is present in all of the
branches, so I always have to make very sure that I don't choose the wrong
version.

So it would be really cool if there was a way to tell the menu item to
restrict itself to the current project.

As an aside, I'd like to suggest the key binding Ctrl-X Ctrl-F for this
menu item in the Emacs keyset. It seems quite intuitive to me, a
long-time Emacs user.

This is not currently possible, however there is a feature request for
restricting Opent Type (and other similar places) to the current working
set.
