I need to test a SCM plugin developed for Eclipse using RR. RR identified
the objects of eclipse using 'ObjectIndex'. The tree view objects in
eclipse are hard to recognize by RR because objectIndex of these objects
get changed if the script perform any SCM related action from it.
I have already raised this issue with IBM-Rational but they come up with
reply that the problem is not with RR but with the Application, may be
because of memory leaks.
We tried the same with CVS eclipse plug-in to check whether problem lies
in our application but the ObjectIndex still change.
Any of you have ever faced such problems, please provide me some pointers
to overcome this issue.
