Hi all,
My eRCP workbench works well with Update Manger. My updates are centrally
published and users can install/update it through update Manager by
mentioning remote site.
I just want to know is it possible to update the features automatically,
if is there any updated versions for the installed features available in
the update site. I also can tell users, there are some updates for the app
so pls update.
Is there any code fragments for auto update or customizing the update in
eRCP?
Thanking you.
Regards,
-arun

The Update Manager does not automatically check for updates and install
them. You have a couple options here:
1) Add your own plugin which calls update.core API to implement the function
you desire. This shouldn't be too hard since most of the function is within
the update API.
2) Use third party management software. For instance, Lotus Expeditor lets
you remotely manage devices, including the install/update/uninstall of
features.
