Hi group,
I usually try to keep my Eclipse installation (win2k system) up-to-
date, that is, I tend to use the most recent integration builds. Now,
the latest integration builds all show a few unit test
errors/failures. For example, the I20040309 shows 16 unit test errors
in total, and 12 compile-time warnings.
I'm just wondering wether it is reasonably safe to install these
builds. I'm not shocked by a bug that shows its head now and then,
but I would definitely not like Eclipse to mess up my projects, for
instance.
I'm sure some of you people use the latest integration builds no
matter what. So I'm asking: what's your experience with them? Do unit
test failures generally indicate serious bugs, or not?
Thanks in advance,
Wald

You best bet is to follow the build discussions on the platform-releng-dev
mailing list.
Each team will usually indicate the severity of any test failures and their
impact on the usability of the builds.
There already has been another build I20040310 :-)
Thanks for using the integration builds,
Darins
