If there is anyone actively working on this project, can you PLEASE supply
a status report?
Is the apparent lack of progress due to lack of developers or is there
some basic design problem?
How much effort is required to produce a version for Ganymede?
Is this project in danger of expiring or is it already dead?
I consider Visual Editor to be a vital component for Java Development
under Eclipse. There appears to be no other viable (non-commercial) option.
I think that a lot of users would like to know what the current situation
is.
Cheers
Russell

project.

The project has died Tue, 30 Jan 2007 -- 11:17

Maybe it can be reanimated.

So do I.
I used Eclipse for some small Amateur projects. I still use Version 3.2 for
my old projects. For newer projects I went over to Netbeans, because I need
a visual editor for Java Programming. I think the non-Amateurs will get a
commercial visual editor or they don't need one.
I still use Eclipse for php-Projects.
