Hello all,

what is the purpose of EditHelpers and EditHelperAdvices in GMF ?
There is someting written about before, instead and after commands
written in the API. I could not figure out for what GMF needs this
classes generated by the framework.

Take a look at the "Extensible Type Registry" Tutorial in the GMF
documentation:
