How can I distribute (web) projects without CVS/SVN? [message #143087] Tue, 14 March 2006 22:59 Go to next message

Hi, I am new to Eclipse, and would welcome any advice. I would like to
bundle up my Eclipse project (it's actually a WTP project) in a ZIP, for
distribution on my web-site.

How do I do this? Are there any articles on this?

I tried zipping up the project directory under my work-space, but when I
unzipped it (after deleting the original), and tried opening it in
Eclipse, I got an error that the 'src' dir was missing (although it was
there).

Please help!

Thanks
Jim

Hello Jim.

I think you need to export it from your IDE. Try right clicking on the
project in the Navigator view (on the left unless you've moved it), then
select 'export...' and follow the wizard.
