CVS and Eclipse - Removing Files? [message #129701] Wed, 24 December 2003 07:21 Go to next message

Hi guys,

Is there an easy way to do a 'cvs remove' within Eclipse? There doesn't
seem to be any options for it under the Team subcontext menu. Right now,
I've been doing it straight from the command line, which is fine, but I
thought they would provide that somwhere in Eclipse. I'm using version
2.1.2, if that helps any.

Thanks,
Brant

Just delete the file in Eclipse (right-click -> Delete). Next time you
synchronize with the repository (right-click -> Team -> Synchronize) it
will do a CVS delete on the files you've deleted in Eclipse.

(This is in 3.0m6, but I'm pretty sure 2.1.x work the same way.)
