Hi, I'm trying to automate our tptp junit tests, so they run from our ant
scripts as per our normal junit tests. This I think is nearly achieved, but
the tptp tests only seem to produce either a .execution file, or an HTML
report based on the birt reports. What I need is an output that matches the
normal junit test results, i.e in xml format, so I can do an junit report
merge on these. Is this possible with tptp - has anyone achieved this, and
if so, are there any tutorials that cover this? I'm quite surprised tptp
doesn't seem to have a built in report output for junit compatible xml. I've
been playing with the BIRT reporting, and can produce a nice html file but
not an XML file... Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Nick Young

Hi Nick,
When TPTP test suites are executed, they produce a *.execution file
(compressed XMI model file) that can be viewed in the Test Log view of
Eclipse. You can generate reports (including BIRT) from one or more
*.execution files. We provide several report templates, but users are
encouraged to create report templates for their specific use cases and
possibly contribute these reports back to the project for others to use:

TPTP provides the Automatable Services Framework (ASF) for executing tests,
interrogating results, and publishing reports from Ant, scripts, and Java
applications:
