RC5 WSDL Editor Problem [message #127398] Fri, 29 July 2005 14:54 Go to next message

I'm using WTP RC5 WSDL editor to create a new wsdl.

1. create new wsdl file
2. UNCHECK the 'create wsdl skeleton' box.
3. create all elements manually as follows:
3a. import types definitions from existing wsdl file
3b. create new portType with operations that reference the imported types
3c. creatt new binding for the portType
3d. create new service

At this point, the graph view shows the imports, messages, porttype, and
binding, but the service is not visible in the graph. The source view does
show the service entry, but it is not visible in te graph.

I tried several things next, saved the wsdl, closed then reopened the wsdl,
but the service was not displayed.

Finally, I exited eclipse and restarted eclipse. After restarting eclipse,
the service is displayed in the graph.

NOTE that if I allow wsdl editor to create the wsdl skeleton, this problem
does not seem to occur. It only happens if I start with a clean slate and
construct the wsdl from scratch, starting at the messages.

Hi Michael,

Please open a bug report against the Web Tools project's wst.wsdl
component. Thanks for reporting the problem.
