Hello,

We have a meta model as shown in the attachment. In words: a process contains connections. Every connection is a link between an activity and an
objectstore. Activities and objectstores don't belong to a process because we want to reuse those objects in different processes.

In the diagram editor, we should be able to draw activities and objectstores as nodes and then make a connection as a link between the two nodes (that
means, on one diagram we see one process).

How can we implement that in GMF? Is it even possible based on that metamodel?

Hello Roger,

This will definitely require manual generated code modifications. (In particular
- ??ItemSemanticEditPolicy.getCreateCompleteIncoming???Command - this place
contains definition of source/target objects for the link).

If you are going to represent Process as a diagram element then you should
think on wich ObjectStores/Activities should be visible there.. Possible
solution is to use shortcuts for the corresponding ObjectStore/Activity elements.
