After loading M5 into a new directory, I followed my typical procedure of
setting up preferences and looking around to see what else is new in the
build.

On a clean build, when I choose either the "Installed JRE's" or "Javadoc"
preferences, Eclipse hangs. I end up killing the application.

If I take a copy of my M4 data/workspace directory and set M5 to use the
copy, it does get better. I can bring up both preferences dialogs. If,
however, I try to add a JRE, the application hangs once again. I go
through all the steps to create the JRE, then when I press OK to accept
the new JRE, Eclipse hangs.

Is this a known issue? I took a quick scan of bugzilla and didn't find
anything resembling this issue. Shall I enter a bug on this behavior?

Thanks,
Ray Elenteny
