How to include "resource" files when running a java file as a J2ME MIDlet? [message #119902] Sat, 26 November 2005 07:49

What I've done is I imported a demo Sun Java Wireless Toolkit
application (Bluetooth demo) as a project in Eclipse. I have both the
toolkit and a Nokia SDK available as emulators.

The problem that I run into is that if I want to test some code changes
by right-clicking the .java file and selecting "run as Emulated J2ME
MIDlet" then the application runs but immediately hangs because it
doesn't have all the information it wants in the .jad file and I suspect
that it might not have access to the image files.

Whenever I export the package as a .jad/.jar file combination, the
application works just fine.

Does anyone have any ideas, or should I provide a little more information?

Thanks very much,
Rich Moffitt
