Context Menus disappear [message #119855]

an editor or view the context menu appears but disappears as soon as I
release the right mouse button. I have to hold the right mouse button
down while making the menu selection.

Can this behaviour be changed ? I have tried finding some way to change
this in the Preferences without any luck.
