Hello,
I'm struggling with declarative services... I already managed to get
some DS examples running. But now in the real world DS does not register
any declared service in my bundles..
A big problem: Eclipse does not install the org.eclipse.equinox.ds
bundle (anymore). First I copied the content of the equinox SDK archive
into the dropins folder. That worked (ds bundle was installed but did
not register any service). Then I moved it from dropins to the eclipse
folder (classic installation w/o p2). Since then the ds bundle will not
install anymore. Even after a -clean eclipse start.
So I hacked
configuration/org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator/bundles .info and
added two lines for the equinox ds and util bundles. That worked - I
finally have the ds plugin active now and can add it to my products run
configuration. BUT when I 'run' the product, the ds plugin is just in
RESOLVED state and not started...
Can anybody give me a hint on how to proceed??
