Newsgroup or Mailing list? [message #10924] Tue, 08 July 2008 19:16 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
In our move from google code to the Eclipse infrastructure, we'd like
your input in a couple of subjects.

The first one is whether you, as an IAM user, prefer to use this
newsgroup or would like a mailing list instead (as we've been used for q4e).

What's your opinion?

+1 for the newsgroup, like almost all eclipse's projects.

+1 for newsgroup.
A user mailing list can be a mailbox-filler and it's not always easy to
search in.

Eclipse UserFriend
+1 for mailing list
but IIRC Eclipse has the option to allow both accesses to the same
archives, buckminster had it I think
