Hi,
I'm quite new to TPTP, so I spent a few hours looking around to find some
information. I would like to profile my java application, running on a
local jboss server, and here are my questions :
1 - I used to launch jboss "outside" of my eclipse workbench, running a
custom-run.bat file. If I keep running jboss outside of eclipse, must I
install and use the standalone agent controller ? (I guess yes)
2 - I am trying to launch jboss from the "servers" view of my eclipse
workbench, I understand that I don't have to install/run this standalone
agent controller in this case, as eclipse provides its own "integrated
agent controller". In this case, I tried to start my server using the
"profile"
option of the contextual menu (right click on my server instance), but in
the "profile on server" dialog, I don't see any "agent" tab but only a
"Monitor" and a "Destination" tab. Is it a normal behavior ? If I select
"Execution Time Analysis" in the monitor tab (nothing special in the
destination tab), and then "Finish" button of the dialog, my server starts
properly. Then, I launch my client application when my jboss is up, but
could not see anything special...Where should I see the "execution time
analysis" results ?
Thanks in advance for your help
Sebastien
