Hi,

I just installed BIRT 2.0 and I discovered some problems I had before
with the BIRT frameset viewer. In FireFox it is showing nothing but a
blank page... and the JavaScript errors offcourse. The same is for IE. I
hope this will be fixed soon as I'm dying to see the new release working
proper. Keep up the good work.

Regards, Jan.

What's the firefox version you are using? 1.5 or 1.0. We currently onlu
support 1.0.

Also check whethet you get prototype.js. I can not think of any other
issue if you see the error on IE.

Yes, that one was missing. Maybe I should upgrade less to avoid such
things;)

Hi,

I'm having the same problems with Firefox: Using the frameset it displays
a blank page and the JS-Console shows a whole lot of errors. I have tested
with Firefox 1.5 and 1.0.7, same result. Everything is fine though when
not using the frameset.

Why was the fact that Firefox 1.5 is not supported, yet, not published
more clearly in the release notes?!!! I don't remember seeing a hint or a
warning anywhere!
Furthermore, the last web viewer release I used for testing was 2.0 M3 and
that worked fine with Firefox 1.5. I didn't necessarily expect this to
change in the final release.

When do you expect to support Firefox? 80% of the people in my company
prefer Firefox and now they can't take advantage of the (btw well done)
AJAX features of the 2.0 web viewer.

Thanks ... Jan
