A project proposal for the Model-to-Text (M2T) project was posted on
Eclipse.org last week.

Hi Paul,

This proposal looks very worthwhile. Having experimented with JET and
having read some descriptions of XPand, I think there is a lot of benefit
to be garnered from a robust, open source model-to-text transformation
facility.

One question: have you looked at FreeMarker? This looks like a useful
generic approach to templating, and has some good features that you might
want to explore for the M2T project.
