How to build ".s" assembler files [message #105900] Fri, 11 June 2004 15:13

Hello,

I am trying to use CDT 2.0M9 to build a collection of source files.
The "C" source files are being built fine but the assembler files
are not being compiled at all. I am using the managed make feature
and it appears that there is no rule that associates a .s dependency
with a .o target. However, the filetype association does list the
tool to invoke for the .s file as the GNU assembler.

Should I be doing something special in my projects to enable the
assembler builds.

Cheers
