Welcome to this new forum. Could soneone give a short explanation of the
prupose of this forum?

Indeed, IBM's Schema Infoset Model is being migrated to org.eclipse.xsd (where else!) as we speak. Well, actually it'll go
faster once I get off the newsgroups and back to migrating docs... we hope do have a brief website and some downloads
available shortly, including sources (probably packaged as features for an Eclipse 2.x setup)
Note that the EMF framework that the XSD library is built on top of is also migrating to org.eclipse.emf (I think in the tools
project) and is quite an interesting project in it's own right.

Yes, this newgroups was formed for the discussion of the XML Schema Infoset
API which is a a reference library for use with any code that
examines, creates or modifies XML Schemas.
Troy - nice to hear your enthusiam for it...
Over the next week the rest of the infrastructure will come on-line and more
information will be available about this project and it's goals.
Watch this space ...
