Hello,
When i use the uninstall tool provide in ganymede, it appears that my
plug-in is still in the plug-in directory of eclipse... even after a
restart with clean option. is it normal that the jar is not deleted?
does eclipse keep this for the "revert configuration" option?
Thanks

Yes, almost certainly that is the reason. I don't know much about the
new provisioning system (p2) but that was the reason given in previous
versions of Eclipse.

When installing a plugin, how can we force p2 to pick the provides files
instead of picking in his archive (even if it's the same version)?

That question is probably best asked on the eclipse.platform newsgroup,
which I've copied to this reply.
