There is no "create project from existing source" options in the dialog for
"New Project / Java / Flexible Java Project".

If I point "Project Location" to an existing project (outside of my
workspace), it ignores me and creates a new bare bones project in my
workspace, ignoring my existing source. Seems like this is a bug or else I
am missing something here.

Is there new functionality in M4 to create a web project from existing
source or is it like it was in M3 ?

Thanks,
Cian

See thread "Howto: Migrating J2EE projects from m3 to m4" on how to migrate projects outside the workspace folder.
