I have configured my ecore model to indicate which components can contain
other components, but when I drag an item from the palette over a component
that I have indicated an element that can contain the selected palette item,
the drop icon is disabled (I get the circle with a slash through it). Is
there an easy way to debug this problem? What determines that when the drop
icon should be enabled?
thanks - Barry

In the NodeMapping for your 'container' node in .gmfmap do you have
Compartment Mapping(s). If so then have you added all the appropriate
'child' nodes into the Compartment?

Hi Khai,
I do not have Compartment Mappings. But if I add Compartment Mapping as a
child of one of my node mappings, no children show up in the selection
dialog. The components that could be children are in the .gmfmap. Any
ideas?
thanks alot - Barry
