I hate to be obnoxious, but this newsgroup is really the wrong place
to ask this question, for two reasons:

(1) It's supposed to be a place for discussions about the things
that are part of the Eclipse Technology project.

(2) The people who can actually answer your question probably aren't
reading this newsgroup, because they're not working on the technology
project.

Hi Mark

at the risk of cluttering up this group. Where can people like myself and
Julien get answers to technical questions. The Eclipse tools and Tools
builders forums do not seem the right place and this is the only other
newsgroup mentioned.

I do understand that this is off topic but it apears to be quite hard to
find the correct place to answer questions.

apologies once again for taking up your time.

thanks in advance

Dave

eclipse.tools *is* the correct newsgroup for every question
regarding either the Eclipse IDE or SWT.

eclipse.tools is the place for questions about the eclipse tools and
platform.

Yeah, I realize that the names of these newsgroups are confusing. They
wouldn't have been my first choice. And I'd personally really like to see
a larger group of newsgroups that made it clearer what belonged where.
But this is what we've got for the moment.
